Caitlin Clark
Field Supervisor
Caitlin fell in love with the outdoors when she was very small, camping and exploring the woods with her family. She started working in outdoor experiential education in 2008, leading backpacking, rock climbing, and sea kayaking trips. She has a BA in History and Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MSc in Outdoor Education from the University of Edinburgh. She believes in the transformative power of outdoor experiences and the healing possibilities of human connection. She has completed an Outdoor Educator NOLS course in Alaska and was an Environmental Action Peace Corps volunteer in Benin.
Caitlin first started working in wilderness therapy in 2015 as a field instructor at a program for adults struggling with substance use. She joined the Momentum family in 2019 as a field instructor, when she also supported graduation and family reconnection programs. In early 2022, she became a senior field instructor and is now field supervisor. She aims to support students and staff with empathy and humor and is always up for a good conversation.
When not at work, you can typically find Caitlin backpacking, dancing, climbing, exploring, playing board games, or hanging out with her dog Zem.
